Terms
Atelier terms of engagement
Acceptance of terms
By engaging with Borrigni's atelier services or digital platforms, you enter into an agreement governed by these terms.
- These terms apply to all commissions, consultations, and website use
- Your continued engagement signifies acceptance
- Terms are subject to update
The commission relationship
Each commission is a direct engagement between you and the atelier. We do not operate through automated accounts or self-service portals.
- Your measurements, preferences, and commission history are archived internally by name
- For repeat commissions, we reference your existing pattern and discuss desired adjustments directly
- All communication flows through personal correspondence — email, consultation, or appointment
- No account creation is required. You are known to us by name, not by user ID
Use of our platforms
Our digital presence is an extension of the atelier.
- Use must align with our values of respect and discretion
- Automated scraping or commercial reproduction is not permitted
- Content may not be copied without explicit written consent
Product representation
We present our garments knowing that cloth is best experienced in person.
- Colours are shown as accurately as digital displays allow
- Fabric weights, compositions, and origins are detailed precisely
- Natural variations in materials are inherent to the fibres
We invite you to consult the atelier or request a swatch before commissioning.
Craftsmanship & delivery
Each garment is created entirely for you, with no inventory held.
- Creation period is 4–6 weeks from commission confirmation
- Timelines may extend for complex commissions or rare materials — we communicate any adjustments
- Once completed, your garment is dispatched with full tracking and signature confirmation
Adjustments & satisfaction
As each garment is made to your specifications, we do not accept returns.
- Contact the atelier within 7 days of receiving your garment
- Minor adjustments are accommodated at no additional cost
- In the event of a craftsmanship matter, we arrange collection and cover all associated costs
To initiate any conversation, write to atelier@borrigni.com. A member of the atelier responds personally.
Intellectual property
Designs, patterns, and archives remain the property of the atelier.
- Your commissioned garment is yours to wear and enjoy
- Reproduction of our designs for commercial purposes is not permitted
- Your personal pattern is archived for future commissions — it is not shared or replicated for others
Privacy & data
Your measurements, preferences, and commission history are held with discretion, accessible only to the atelier.
- We do not share client data with third parties
- Communications remain confidential to the client-atelier relationship
- For complete information, refer to our Privacy Policy
Legal framework
- Governed by the laws of Italy
- Disputes will first be addressed through direct dialogue
- Both parties commit to resolution in good faith
Effective as of April 2026.
